Sinoun is 29 years old. She is married and resides with her parents and one child in Battambang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling clothes for more than seven years, earning approximately $5 per day. Her husband is employed in a local organization. He earns about $7 each day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Sinoun is requesting a loan of $1000 to pay for renting a store in the market to run a sewing shop. In addition, a part of this money is used to purchase cloth to use for sewing clothes to sell. By doing so, she would earn more income for the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her child to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house to live separately from her parents.
