Gladys, 36, has three children; she lives in the municipality of Mombasa, Kenya, with her children and her husband. She has her own clothing and handbags sales business. She’s been in business three years. She sells her merchandise door-to-door.
She will use the loan she’s requesting to stock up on clothes and handbags. She hopes to increase her income and clientele. Her dream is to make the business grow to generate income to improve her and her family’s quality of life.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
