Cesar Humberto
Cesar, 56, is married and he and his wife have five children he loves very much and strives for daily so that they will have a dignified, honorable life and above all an example of dedication and work to follow. He lives in the city of Ica, a city noted for its hot, welcoming climate. Agriculture is prevalent here too, especially cotton, grapes, asparagus and paprika, among others. Cesar is very hardworking but when he has a little free time he enjoys watching television very much but what he likes best is enjoying one of his favorite dishes, the delicious “Ají de Gallina.” Because of his limited economic resources he was only able to study up to fifth year of secondary school but would have liked to have studied civil engineering.

Day to day Cesar works driving his car providing taxi services because with the fruits of his labor and with much effort he’s able to cover household expenses. He believes he does well in his business because he’s very kind and above all because he very much wants to get ahead every day.

Cesar is very grateful for the support Kiva lenders have given him because thanks to it he will be able to service his vehicle, to buy tires and to renew his driver’s license. In this way, his vehicle will be safer and above all he’ll have the necessary documents to continue working and he will be able to continue striving towards making his greatest dream reality: to give his children a good education and to establish a taxi firm.
