Masika is an enterprising woman. She is 40 years old and lives with her partner Bilali in the town of Msambweni. They both work in the retail trade.
Masika has a well-stocked store in her home. In it she sells coconuts at retail. She is a self-sacrificing person who works hard each day to get ahead and improve her quality of life. Thanks to her efforts, she has been able to educate her children.
She will use this loan to pay school fees for her first born who recently joined the university. She thanks Yehu and Kiva for the assistance that she is receiving.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
