Jose Pedro
José’s a farmer; he works on three ‘manzanas’ [Central American unit of land measurement] of land and he’s also an artisanal fisherman which allows him to diversify his sources of income. He’s married and lives with his wife and two children. José started working in agriculture seeking new sources of income and to date they have made it possible for him to feed himself and his family.

He requests a loan because he’s starting a new basic grains planting cycle and needs to buy fertilizer and manure. He currently does not have any savings with which to make this purchase which is why he hopes that by calling upon the loan he’ll be able to meet this need and be able to do his work with no delays.

Among his hopes for the future is to be able to buy a vehicle for the family and to increase his agricultural production by means of his work in order to improve his family’s living conditions.
