Manuela, aged 58, lives in the Philippines and is married with two children. She has a food/retail shop (sari-sari store) where she buys and sells canned goods, snacks, personal care products, home use products and beverages. Manuela has had this business for 16 years.
She has requested a loan of 6,000 PHP to buy canned goods, snacks and beverages to sell. Manuela has been a member of HSPFI since 2011. In the future, she hopes to improve her business so she can support her grandchildren's education.
