Chanthorn is 45 years old. She is married and lives with six children in Takeo province, Cambodia. For more than ten years, Chanthorn has been selling Khmer noodles, earning approximately 3 USD per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver who earns about 5 USD daily. Three of her children are employed and earn about 9 USD per day.
Chanthorn is requesting a 1,000 USD loan to purchase a new motorbike for her husband's taxi service as his present motorbike is old. This purchase will help him attract more customers and earn more income for the family. In the future, Chanthorn would like to build a new house and help her children earn a higher education.
