Mwanamisi, 28, considers herself to be a very charismatic, honest and unassuming person who very much likes to work. She lives with her spouse and three children in Likoni which is located in the Coast Province. Mwanamisi works buying and selling men's, women's, and children's clothes. She’s worked in this business for four years and does very well thanks to her charisma and her good products. Profits she gets from this business are used for household expenses and to cover her family's needs. Mwanamisi has asked Yehu for a loan at present to buy more stock of clothes to sell, in order to have greater variety in her store.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
