Mahmoud is a 50-year-old married man living with his wife and two children, who are still attending school. He is from Lebanon. He has owned a shop since 2007 where he sells agricultural supplies such as fertilizers. He is the main income source of the family, and he works hard to provide his family with enough money to live in good conditions.
He is asking to borrow from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase needed agricultural supplies. He intends to increase his business sales to get extra income and enhance his family’s way of living. In the future, he plans to expand his business into other areas.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
