The communal bank Bonanza is formed by 8 women that live in different areas of the city of Cuenca, characterized by its weather. The center of the city confers images of its colonial history and it is surrounded by 4 rivers. The people are kind with a warm heart and great charisma, they maintain their culture and traditions and their gastronomy is varied. The members are women of humble hearts, very hardworking and looking for a way to better the economy of their households and keep their families going. They obtain their loans at the communal bank to improve the small businesses they work at everyday.

One of the members of this group is Mercy. She lives downtown in the city of Cuenca, she is 44 years old and married. In her conjugal union she conceived 2 sons of 19 and 9 years old. Her first born attends university and her second son attends a small school in the city. Her husband works as a private employee. They do not own their home and thus they live in the home of a family member.

Mercy is an entrepreneurial woman that wakes up early Mondays to Saturdays to make a living in the preparation of snacks, an activity she has been carrying out for the last 7 years and for which she has a steady customer base. She also works looking after her shop Sunday to Sunday without set hours.

She is going to invest her loan in the purchase of a freezer for her store.

Her goal is to build her house in a lot that she owns.

El banco comunal Bonanza está conformado por 8 mujeres que viven en diferentes lugares de la ciudad de Cuenca, ciudad que se caracteriza por su clima, su centro nos regala imágenes de su historia colonial y se encuentra rodeada de 4 ríos. Su gente es amable, tiene un corazón cálido y un gran carisma, mantienen su cultura y tradiciones, su gastronomía típica es muy variada. Las socias son mujeres sencillas de corazón y muy trabajadoras que buscan la manera de mejorar la economía de sus hogares y sacar adelante a sus familias, realizan los créditos en la banca comunal para mejorar sus pequeños negocios en el cual trabajan a diario.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. Mercy, vive en el centro de la ciudad de Cuenca, tiene 44 años de edad, está casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 2 hijos de 19 y 9 años de edad, su primer hijo cursa los estudios universitarios y su segundo hijo está en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo labora como empleado privado, no tienen casa propia por lo que viven en casa de un familiar.

Doña Mercy es una mujer emprendedora que de lunes a sábados se levanta temprano para dedicarse a la preparación de refrigerios, actividad que la desempeña hace 7 años y cuenta con su clientela fija, también labora en la atención de su tienda en la que trabaja de domingo a domingo sin un horario fijo.

Su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de un congelador para su tienda.

Su meta es construir su casa en un terreno que es de su propiedad.
