The Conchan community bank has seven female members who live in Conchan community, in El Valle parish, in Cuenca. This area has beautiful landscape and its architecture is a mixture of old and modern. The local people still maintain the culture and tradition of their parents. They are known to be kind and friendly people. The members of this community bank are always fighting to improve their household income and provide for their children.

One of the members of this group is Rosa Ubaldina. Rosa is 29 years old, married, and has two children aged 8 and 4 from her marriage. Her eldest son attends an elementary school in the town and her youngest is in pre-school. Her husband works in a carpenter's workshop. They do not own their own home but live in her in-laws' house, sharing the household expenses.

Rosa Ubaldina works from Monday to Fridays, cleaning houses. The good thing about her work is that she works half days which allows her to care for her family. At home she raises chickens which she sells in her community either skinned or alive. She will invest her loan in buying more chickens to expand her business. Her biggest dream is to own her own home.

El banco comunal Conchan está conformado por 7 socias, viven por la comunidad de Conchan en la parroquia del Valle en Cuenca, este lugar tiene hermosos paisajes y su arquitectura es moderna y antigua, su gente aun mantienen la cultura y tradiciones que sus padres, se caracterizan por ser gente amable y gentil. Las socias de este banco comunal siempre están en la lucha para mejorar la economía se sus hogares y sacar adelante a sus hijos.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora Ubaldina. Rosa, tiene 29 años de edad, es casada y ha procreado en su unión conyugal 2 hijos de 8 y 4 años de edad, su primer hijo está en una escuelita de la localidad y su segundo hijo pasa en una guardería. Su esposo labora en una carpintería, no tiene casa propia por lo que vive en casa de sus suegros con quienes comparte los gastos de su hogar.

La Señora. Rosa Ubaldina trabaja de lunes a viernes en el arreglo de varias casas, lo bueno de su trabajo es que lo realiza medio día y le da el espacio para cuidar de su familia, en su casa se dedica a la cría de pollos a los que los vende en su comunidad pelados o vivos.

Su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de pollos para ampliar su negocio.

Su mayor sueño es tener su casa propia.
