Athman is a married man who has three sons and three daughters. He lives in Tiribe, a small town in the coastal region of Kenya. For the last three years, Athman has been operating a motorcycle taxi, serving the community. It is a business he loves though he narrates that it is a risky business--especially operating on dark alleys.
In addition to this business, Athman has a retail shop run by his wife. They work well together; they normally share ideas. Athman is requesting a loan in the amount of Ksh 10,000 to buy spare parts for his motorcycle. In addition to this, he will also purchase bales of maize and wheat flour, sugar, and rice for his shop.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
