Kung, age 62, is an industrious father of six children, currently living in Baray district of Kompong Tom province. As a good father, Kung always cares about supporting his family through his farming and fishing activities. Kung looks old, but he is still strong enough to manage his family-owned businesses. With continuous efforts and patience in his business, Kung is able to provide for his family’s basic necessities. At the present, four of his children are already settled for marriage while the rest assist him in the two businesses.
Due to the lack of capital for the purchase of farm supplies to spread on his rice crop, Kung is requesting a loan in the amount of 1,000,000 KHR to purchase supplies such as seeds, fertilizers and pesticides needed for farming. This will enable him to earn sufficient income to gradually improve his family’s living condition.
