She is married to Thomas, and the couple has two children, one at school and under the care of the couple.

Sosthène Théophilia and her husband live with their child, and together ensure that the child’s various needs are met. Sosthène Théophilia finished her education during elementary school, and now works as a hairdresser in her salon as her main business. In addition, she also sells hair extensions and hair products. She is passionate about this business, and it allows her to provide for herself and her children.

Sosthène Théophilia buys her supplies in a market in Benin. In order to satisfy her customers, and with the aim of increasing her working capital, she has requested her first loan along with the other members of the Sohoueto 2 group. This loan will allow them to better meet their customers’ requests, as well as to make more profits.

SOHOUETO 2 est un groupement de trente cinq personnes, dont les membres résident dans le même quartier. La représentante du groupe, Sosthène Théophilia (dont la main est levée sur la photo), est âgée de 36 ans et est mariée à un certain Thomas. Le couple a deux enfants, dont un scolarisé et à leur charge. Sosthène Théophilia et son mari vivent ensemble avec leur enfant et assurent ensemble les différentes charges de leur enfant. Sosthène Théophilia a arrêté l’école au cours primaire. Il y a cinq ans environs que Sosthène Théophilia exerce comme activité principale, la coiffure dans son atelier. Parallèlement à cette activité, Sosthène Théophilia vend des mèches et des produits de cheveux. Sosthène Théophilia exerce cette activité passionnément, ce qui lui permet de subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de son enfant. Sosthène Théophilia s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin.
