Natalis
Natalis had hoped to attend school continuously for quite a long time but, due to poor conditions, he had to postpone school for one year. Natalis lives in the interior of the island of Borneo – precisely on the upper Kapuas River, the largest river in the island. Both his parents are elderly and work as farmers. Their income is erratic and covers the costs of daily living. While Natalis was postponing school, he worked to help his parents. With the money that he raised, Natalis is presently attending lectures at Maritime Academy Nusantara. He chose the Commerce program Management and Harbor Cruise because, according to his ability and aspirations, he wants to work in the office of the National Transportation Agency.

Not wanting to burden his parents, Natalis applied for a Kiva loan to cover the cost of his studies. Natalis is very grateful to the lenders who will help him with his studies, even though he does not know them.
