Vidalia vive junto a su esposo y sus cuatro hijos con los que trabaja en la recolección de frutas de temporada. Ella y su familia empiezan sus labores a las 4:30 a.m. a y las concluyen al mediodía, ya que después sus hijos asisten a la escuela y Vidalia junto a su esposo se dirigen a vender la fruta.
