Kenia generates her own income through a business that she manages from home. Three years ago, she decided to sell products through catalogs such as Avon, Vogue, and Arabella. The products she sells include crèmes, lotions, shampoo, sandals, clothing, deodorants, dyes, cleaning products, and all other types of cosmetics. Her sales are conducted as a traveling merchant since she must deliver orders to her customers’ homes, as well as sell from her own house.
Kenia has completed two loan cycles and is now requesting a loan of 8,000 HNL that she will invest in more products that her customers have ordered. Her goal for the future is to have her own shop and establish several sales points so that her family can get ahead.
