Mesaidi, 35, is a married woman living in Samburu, a town in the coastal region of Kenya. From this relationship, she has six children who are all in school.
She has a store that she has maintained for three years. It generates income for her family and pays for the various expenses she has. Thanks to this, she has managed to support her family, because she is a hardworking woman and a fighter, always willing to work without regard for how old she is.
She is requesting this loan to buy bales of flour, sugar and other items that she will offer to her customers to be able to improve her monthly income.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
