Martha, aged 47, is married and lives in Kakata. She has four children between four and 25. Three of the children live with her and attend school, while the oldest one is independent. For the past twelve years, Martha has been operating a pharmacy in her community. She is proud of this business because she provides first aid to the people in her community, and is always at their service. She learned this field of medicine from a local medical school she attended. She has requested a loan to purchase more medicines (Paracetamol, cough syrup, Amoxicillin, Amodaquine, etc.). Her plan for the future is to extend the pharmacy into a clinic, and give her children a better education.
