Yaya's story

Born around 1980 in Lofigué, in Cercle de Kadiolo, Mr. Yaya lives with his three children and two wives in a traditional family in Kolondièba. He is a teacher. Aside from his job, he became interested in revenue-generating businesses, especially the buying and selling of fuels and lubricants. He gets his supplies in Nièna. He is much in demand and appreciated in and around Kolondièba.

Bestowed with five years of experience in this domain, Mr. Yaya decided to collaborate with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso in his search for financial resources. He is now on his first loan.

He intends to use his loan to purchase 5 drums of fuel and 50 cans of oil. Mr. Yaya hopes to make a monthly profit of 150,000 francs CFA that will be used to meet family needs, repay the loan, and reinvest in his business.
