Naome is a 34-year-old married woman and the mother of three children. She has had a business of selling clothing for over five years; this is how she supports her household. This enterprising woman wants to make an investment buying clothing to increase her stock of the merchandise she sells. For this Naome has trusted in Yehu, the intermediary institution between Kiva and herself, to get her first loan. With this she plans to get greater profits, because with a greater selection she can attract a larger clientele.
The lack of capital and growth opportunities has been a big obstacle for this woman. Thanks to Kiva and Yehu, Naome not only will have a loan, but she also will be able to get training and advice in such a way that she will have sustainable growth.
