Tsuma is a married man who operates a motorcycle taxi. He is taking care of five children, all in school, and has worked in this business for two years. He remarks that his job is very difficult because during the winter he has a lot of obstacles because he has fewer passengers since it's cold. His dream is to buy more motorcycles to work and thus progress every day.
Tsuma is asking for the loan to buy replacement parts for his motorcycle taxi, since it is an essential part of his job. He is happy with the opportunity that he is receiving.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
