Carmen Beatriz
View original language description ↓
My name is Carmen Beatriz C. B., currently I am in the business of selling typical clothing in the village of Cruz Blanca of San Juan Sacatepequez where I live. It has been approximately four years since I came into the business of selling clothing. At first I helped a woman sell her merchandise on commission. At that time I worked at a vegetable packing plant and, since I had already acquired experience selling clothing, I started to invest part of my salary in selling sweaters. Thereafter, I got married and had a daughter so I dedicated myself completely to the business which is why I saw the need to invest more capital in the business. I now also sell local clothing such as guipiles, shirts, shawls, girdles and other products which my clients might request such as sandals. Since I now have a fixed clientele, I deliver the clothing to my customers' homes or they stop by my home to make their purchases. What I want to accomplish is to be able to invest more capital and to put a stall in San Juan Sacatepequz. However, this requires a lot of capital which is why I want to increase my clientele to obtain this capital. This will allow me to take advantage of the important upcoming holidays.
