Mwaka is married and has four children to support. For the last five years, she has been selling clothes at retail. She stocks her business with various clothes for adults and children and supports her family with the income. She will use the loan to buy various clothes like shirts, skirts, blouses, khangas, etc. to attract more customer attention and purchases.
In the future, she plans to open a boutique. This way, she will be able to continue providing a quality life for her family.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
