Garma, age 49, is a mother of five children. She resides with her husband in West Point. Two of her children attend school while the other three are working. They are between the ages of 6 and 29.
For the past 14 years, Garma has been selling soft drinks, mineral water, cooking oil, sardines and lunch meat in her community. One problem she faces is the raining season, when there are less sales. She learned to sell from her mother. With the profits she earns, she buys more goods to improve the business and improve her children's lives.
Garma has requested this loan to purchase more soft drinks, mineral water and cooking oil for her business. Her plan for the future is to build a house.
