Halima is married and has two children who are attending primary school. Thanks to her job, she is able to educate her children and purchase all the family's household necessities. She has proven to be responsible and honest in her commitments.
Halima started her own charcoal selling business two years ago with her parents’ help. She also sells coconuts from her home. She is requesting a loan to purchase four sacks of charcoal and 200 coconuts. Halima aims to own her own shop in the future.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
