Because of family and economic problems, Rilda was unable to finish higher education and now must support herself and her little one alone; she is very loved and respected in the area where she lives because of the ways he’s devoted to her work and her little son.
She’s requesting this loan to make some improvements to the house her parents left her. Rilda’s main activity is selling food there. She needs to improve the setting where she sells her meals to increase sales and improve her income to give her son a better quality of life so he can attend a better school. The loan will help her son and her with the hard work she does.

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
