Moses is a 33-year-old married man with four children living in Fort Portal, Uganda. Thirteen years ago, Moses realized that he needed to set up income-generating activities since he was going to be married and have children. Today, he operates a retail shop and a furniture workshop, the proceeds from which enable him to pay school fees for his children and buy land. His major hardship is price fluctuation.
Moses has requested this loan to buy sugar and salt to sell and timber for the workshop. He dreams of expanding his workshop and having a wholesale shop.
