Ruth is 47 years old, married, and has two children who are in school. She operates a butcher shop to earn a living. She has been in this business for two years. She dreams of opening another outlet in a different location in the future. She has requested a loan of 20,000 Kenyan Shillings (KES) to buy a cow for slaughter.
