The group GMTB comprises eleven persons who do the same work. The group's representative, Tadagbé Augustin, is the one in the photo with his hand raised. With the goal of boosting their business to cope better with customer demands, this group is requesting financial support from ALIDé for a second time.

Tadagbé Augustin dropped out of primary school. He is 47 years old and married to a retailer named Yvette. The couple have four children, all in school and in their care. Tadagbé Augustin lives together with his wife and children. He and his wife jointly ensure that the diverse family expenses are covered.

To help with diverse family needs, Tadagbé Augustin has been doing masonry for about twenty years. Parallel to this business, he raises pigs. He gets his supplies from wholesalers.

With the goal of bolstering their work and satisfying their customers further, Tadagbé Augustin and the other members of the group GMTB are requesting a second loan from ALIDé. Their ambition is to boost their businesses. The first loan was indeed paid back.

Le groupement GMTB est composé de onze personnes qui exercent la même activité. Le représentant de ce groupement, du nom de Tadagbé Augustin est celui ayant une main levée sur la photo. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de leur activité afin de mieux faire face à la demande de leur clientèle, ce groupement sollicite pour une deuxième fois l'appui financier de ALIDé. Tadagbé Augustin a arrêté l’école au niveau primaire. Tadagbé Augustin est âgée de 47 ans et est mariée à une revendeuse du nom de Yvette. Le couple a quatre enfants, tous scolarisés et à leur charge. Tadagbé Augustin vit ensemble avec sa femme et ses enfants. Tadagbé Augustin assure ensemble avec sa femme, les diverses charges de la famille. Pour contribuer aux divers besoins de sa famille, Tadagbé Augustin exerce depuis une vingtaine d’années environs, la maçonnerie. Parallèlement à cette activité, Tadagbé Augustin fait l’élevage des porcs. Tadagbé Augustin s'approvisionne auprès des grossistes. Dans le but de renforcer leur activité et de mieux satisfaire leur clientèle, Tadagbé Augustin et les autres membres du groupement GMTB sollicitent un deuxième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Leur ambition est d’accroître le niveau de leur activité. Le premier crédit a été bien remboursé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
