Concepcion, from Pangabuan, Tangub City, is 56 years old, separated, and a mother of two. To make a living, for the past 15 years she has owned and operated a retail store where she sells school supplies, earning about PHP 5,000 a month.

In 2011, Concepcion joined GDMPC and is now requesting a loan of PHP 10,000 to obtain more items to sell such as pencils, papers, glue, etc. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve her family's general living conditions.
