Romulo
Rómulo is 55 years old. He is married to Ambrosia with whom he has 8 children but he lives only with the youngest who is 16. They live in their own house located in a farming and ranching area. Rómulo is an exemplary man. At his age, he is dedicated to farming, a very tiring but heartwarming activity. He grows potatoes in great quantities mainly in the months of May, November and December. Like the previous loan, he mentions that he will be punctual with his monthly payments. He belongs to the "Mirando un futuro mejor" (looking at a better future) community bank and he likes teamwork. With the money, he will acquire bags of fertilizer and farmyard manure (1500 soles). Also, he will buy potato seed (500 soles).

Rómulo tiene 55 años está casado con Ambrosia, con quien tiene 8 hijos, pero solo vive con el menor de 16 años. Ellos viven en una casa propia ubicada en un distrito agrícola y ganadero. Rómulo es un hombre ejemplar. A su edad se dedica a la agricultura, una actividad muy cansada, pero reconfortante.
Él cultiva papas en grandes cantidades. Mayormente en los meses de mayo, noviembre y diciembre. “En esta zona las papas harinosas crecen grandes y sanas, por eso su precio de venta siempre es favorable”, menciona.
Rómulo empezó esta actividad desde que era joven, y después formó su familia. Ahora, con la experiencia de muchos años, aprendió a realizar otros negocios, como la venta de carne de carnero, todos los viernes viaja para Chanchamayo donde tiene un puesto de venta. Los jueves y domingos expende las carnes en el mercado de Tarma. De esta manera Rómulo trabaja y sale adelante. Está muy agradecido por al ayuda que se le brinda y la confianza, por eso esta vez también espera el apoyo para iniciar otra siembra de papas. Éste es su crédito número 2 con MFP. Como en el anterior préstamo, menciona que, será puntual en el pago de las cuotas mensuales. Pertenece al banco comunal “Mirando un futuro mejor” y le agrada el trabajo en equipo.
Con el dinero adquirirá bolsas de fertilizantes y guano de corral (1500 soles), además comprará semillas de papas (500 soles).
