Juan Rogelio
Juan is 43 years of age, married, and has four children aged 22, 18, 15 and 12. He works as a fisherman and lives on an island on Lake Titicaca, a tourist center in the department of La Paz. This area is known for bullrush and wool handicrafts, and the majority of the island’s inhabitants work in fishing.

He sells the fish he catches in the city of La Paz, and with his new boat he wants to increase his output and meet his customers’ requests. Juan faces challenges in his business, such as the wind which can raise high waves which do not allow him to go out fishing.

Juan is a person who wants to get ahead in life. He is happy, and thankful to the microfinance institution for the support given to him, as this is the only source of income he has to provide for his family.

El Sr. Juan tiene 43 años, casado con cuatro hijos de las edades de 22, 18, 15 y 12, el es pescador el vive en una isla Del lago Titicaca, centro turístico del departamento de la paz, hay artesanías de totoras y en lana, la mayoría de los habitantes de esta isla se dedican a la pesca, este préstamo es su primera secuencia dentro de la institución, el Sr. Juan va a usar este préstamo para la compra de una bote pesquero de mayor capacidad su mercadería producto de su pesca lo venden en la ciudad de La Paz y con este nuevo bote quiere incrementar su producción y así satisfacer la demandada de sus clientes, Juan enfrenta retos en su negocio que son el viento que no le permite pescar por el olaje que levanta, Juan es una persona con ganas de superación se siente feliz y agradecido con la institución por el apoyo brindado ya que esta es la única fuente de ingresos que tiene para mantener a su familia.
