Blanca established her own business four years ago as a source of income. She provides haircuts, coloring, treatments, manicures, and other beauty services. Blanca has been able to maintain her business by investing several loans from ODEF. She has participated in eight loan cycles.
Her current loan is in the amount of 5,000 HNL and will be used to buy a barber chair since the one she currently owns is in bad condition. She will also buy dyes, shampoo, treatments, and nail polishes in order to maintain the inventory of products she uses in her salon. Her plan is to improve her business and her income. With the earnings, she will be able to maintain her household and help her children with their studies.
