Jocelyn is 41 years old and married with five children. She lives in Ozamis City. For the past nine years, Jocelyn has owned and operated a farm, planting and harvesting rice to sell. She earns 7,000 PHP each month and joined GDMPC in 2007.
Jocelyn is requesting a 10,500 PHP loan to purchase fertilizer such as manure. In the future, she wants to make improvements to her house and to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
