Yanet is 36 years old. She lives in the city of Camaná with her three children, who are the most important thing in her life. Unfortunately, Yanet and her partner split up a few years ago. Since then, she's done everything she can to improve her family's situation. She is very friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic. In her free time, she likes to walk along the riverbank near her home and sometimes cooks a delicious lomo saltado (a Peruvian dish with steak and vegetables) for her family. With a lot of effort and her parents' help, Yanet has started a small business selling food. She sells fast foods such as hamburgers, chicken wings, hot dogs with potatoes, roasted chicken, and so on, starting very early every morning. She works about 12 hours a day and thinks her business is going well because of her hard work and friendly attitude with her customers.Yanet is very grateful for Kiva's lenders, who have helped her improve her home. She wants to plaster and paint her home and do some repairs so it will be in better shape and safer for her family. She will keep working and making an effort to gradually expand her business and achieve her greatest dream: seeing her children get good jobs and become upstanding men.
