The “CHEVELAS” communal bank started its first cycle in Pro Mujer as a part of the Collpani Center. It is made up of eight members and it is led by a board of directors whose president is Rose Mary. The members' businesses in the communal bank are varied. Among them are: plaster artisanal crafts, selling drinks, weaving blankets and selling juice, selling used clothes, selling food and coffee, a bookstore and a pastry shop.

the loan they will take out will benefit the micro businesswomen. including Rose Mary. She indicates that she joined Pro Mujer, a year ago at the invitation of a counselor from the institution who went to visit her at her home. Right now, she has a business making plaster artisanal crafts. She says that she started this business on her own initiative and with her mother's help.

The loan she will take out now is to increase her capital by buying celing tiles. She will buy them from distribution trucks wholesale and later, after finishing them she will sell them i nthe cities of Cochabamba, La Paz and Oruro. This work allows her to generate income to support herself financially.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says she likes the health aspect and the loans.

La A.C. “CHEVELAS” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Collpani, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Rose Mary es la Presidenta Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: artesano en yeso, venta de fresco, tejido de mantas y venta de jugos, venta de ropa usada, venta de comida y café, librería y pastelería.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Rose Mary es una integrante, ella indica que hace un año que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a visitarla a su domicilio. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio producción de artesanías en yeso, ella cuenta que hace varios años emprendió este negocio por iniciativa propia y con ayuda de su madre.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de estuco) que comprará de los camiones distribuidores por mayor y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en las ciudades de Cochabamba, La Paz y Oruro. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyarse económicamente.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y crédito.
