Luis Alberto
Luis, 29, lives in suburban neighborhood in San Pedro Sula with his wife and two children. Luis opened his own shoe repair shop three years ago; he provides shoemaking and shoe repair services for all types of shoes. His workshop is in his brother’s house and he spends all day in it. He used to work at an assembly plant and when he became unemployed he decided to practice his occupation as a cobbler.

He’s stayed in business thanks to ODEF loans. He’s currently requesting his third loan for 16,000 Lempiras to buy raw materials like soles, leather, thread, glue, needles and others to do his pending cobbler jobs and to increase production. His goal is to continue growing until having a strong workshop and expand it more to move his family forward.
