Israa
Israa is a 20-year-old Lebanese married woman who lives with her husband and one child. Her husband works for the Lebanese army to support the family money-wise. But since his income is not enough to cover the family's expenses, Israa decided to start working as a hairdresser, receiving customers at her house. She’s a brave young woman who is running a business while at the same time raising her child and taking care of her house.

With her requested youth loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l, she will purchase new hairdressing tools and supplies so as to better serve her clients. She hopes her business will grow and dreams to be able to give her child a good future and high educational degree through all her hard work.
