Zuhura is a married woman who earns a living selling clothes from her home, an activity she has done for the last four years. She sells a variety of clothes ranging from women's to children's clothes. Zuhura speaks well of her job because it has given her good results. She also owns a rental house which earns her good income every month. She intends to offer more varieties to choose; so she is requesting a loan to add to her stock of clothes for sale. Zuhura faces the challenge of credit defaulters since she offers her merchandise on credit.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
