Amélé is married to an employee of a local business, and is 38 years of age. She has one 13-year-old child, who goes to school.
Amélé works as a street vendor reselling eggs, and her customers are from the city of Lomé and elsewhere. One of the members of her family helps her with her business. To consolidate her business, Amélé has requested her first loan from WAGES, which she will use to buy eggs. She plans to have a store so that she no longer has to work in the street, and also hopes to see her child study for a long time.
