Rodrigo
Rodrigo used his previous Kiva loan to buy foodstuffs in greater volume and sold them by the pound or in the amounts his customers needed. He did well with this investment because he rotated his working capital and increased sales volume; he also came out ahead because he was able to get volume buying discounts.

He’s now applying for a new Kiva loan that he’ll use to buy cleaning supplies, rice, oil and soft-drinks. By doing so, he will once again provide better customer service and by buying in larger amounts will qualify for discounts.

His message to Kiva lenders is the following: “Thank you very much for helping me to move my business forward to improve my living conditions. May God bless you.”
