Grace is 61 years old, married, and raising one child who is in school. However, she has four other adult children. In search of a source of income for her family, she started her own business, rearing pigs. Thanks to Grace's persistence and hard work, having started with one pig, she has been able to develop her business and now has several pigs. She also sells liquid detergents in plastic bottles door-to-door. Her husband helps her with the business in his free time.
In order to further develop her business, Grace requested a loan in the amount of 40,000 KES from Yehu to invest in her business by purchasing another pig and feeds as well as renovating the pig pen. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into expanding her business in order to pay for her son's education.
