Ameyo lives with her three children and her husband, a reseller, in Lomé. The children's ages are 15, 11, and 3 years old. Two of them go to school.
Améyo is a professional braider. In parallel, she also sells charcoal at her home. In order to bolster her stock and better meet customer demand, she's seeking a loan from Kiva's partner, WAGES, in order to buy sacks of charcoal.
She wants to put money away, become a wholesaler, and see her family in a stable situation financially.
