Margarita
Margarita is 44 years old and lives in the city of Ica. This city is known for its warm and welcoming climate. It is also known for its agriculture, in particular the production of lima beans, cotton, asparagus and other crops. There are also a lot of tourist sites here including the Huacachina Lake which is visited by many tourists year round. Whenever she has any free time, Margarita really enjoys listening to music. Above all, however, she enjoys spending her free time with her family because she and her husband have four children who she loves dearly and she works hard every day so that she can offer them a decent life and, above all, a lot of love. Owing to her limited financial resources, Margarita was only able to study up to the fifth year of her secondary education. She would have liked to have been able to study for a degree in civil engineering.

Margarita works every day in her small grocery store business. This enables her to support her husband in covering the household expenses and the cost of their children's schooling. Margarita works around 10 hours a day and can serve up to 30 customers. She believes that she is doing well in her business because she is very friendly to her customers and because she offers good-quality products at a good price.

Margarita is very grateful to Kiva lenders because, thanks to their help, she will be able to buy a freezer, display cabinets, shelving and merchandise such as noodles, sacks of rice, etc. This will enable her to keep her products in good condition, in a more ordered, cleaner environment and she will have a greater variety of goods available. This, in turn, will enable her to improve her income and continue working hard toward realizing her biggest dream: to own her own home and provide her children with a good future.
