Augustine is a forty eight year old married man with six children hailing from Kasese, Uganda. Four years ago he decided to venture into commercialized farming since agriculture is the backbone of the Ugandan economy and he says it was a wise decision. With the proceeds he has been able to pay school fees for his children and buy more land.
Like all farmers he is faced by challenges in unpredictable weather changes and inadequate capital to purchase modern farming equipment. His dream is to educate his children up to the University level and to own at least 50 acres of farm land. Augustine intends to use the loan facility to buy land for farming.
