Monicah is 46 years old. She is married and has two adult children. For work, she sells new clothing. She has her locale set up in her neighborhood market and has had this business for five years. She started the business with her husband's help, who already had experience in this line of work.
Currently, Monicah's objectives and goals are to expand her business and open a boutique. With this loan, she wants to buy clothing, including pants, shirts, shorts, dresses and skirts, among other items.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
