Pen is a 37-year-old married woman who has been living Baray district, Kompong Tom province. She is in the business of raising pigs in a wooden pigsty at the backyard of her house, where she installed five piglets for fattening already. And when they are grown, she will sells them to local traders or butchers in her village. She has been in this business for 5 years and it earns her a good income after the rice farming business.
She wants to improve her current businesses, which is why she is asking for additional capital to purchase 10 sacks of fertilizer for the sustenance of her crops. Also she will purchase feed and vitamins for her pigs. This loan will help her grow her businesses and be able to have a better yield in this coming year.
