Madelin Suyapa's story

Madelin is 21 years old. She is a single mother of a daughter who depends on her. Three eyars ago she opened a small grocery store in her house where she also sells cosmetics. She lives with her mother and two brothers in the community of Nacaome in southern Honduras. Madelin is an enterprising young woman who wants to get ahead in her business and in her college studies.

Madelin is asking for a loan of 5,000.00 lempiras to buy beverages, produce and candies, water and chicken for her business. With the support of this loan, she wants to stock her business a little more because she needs working capital to increase her inventory and sell more. This way, she will have more profit and will improve her quality of life.

Madelin's dream is for her daughter to grow up healthy and to finish her college studies.
