Chhay is 33 years old. She is married and lives with her parents in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling dessert for more than three years, earning approximately $15 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $2 each day. In order to improve her family’s living conditions, Chhay is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase materials to use in her business. In addition, a part of this money will be used to fix her store. This money will help her expand her store and earn more income to support her family. In the future, she would like to build a new house as soon as possible.
